Companies Using Paperless Statements Saves Everyone Time and Money

Is your mailbox looking a little lighter these days? Well you can thank the companies and banks you deal with for that as you have probably helped the cause and joined them in using paperless statements. Now all you need to do is check your e-mail daily or monthly to see your balance and make payments with out having to open any snail mail or even better yet shell out money for the cost of a stamp. Over the past year, paperless statements have caught on so much that those companies are now charging customers a flat rate to get statements via snail mail due to their paper and postage costs. The one thing we have yet to see is if companies will in turn lower any fees that they typically pass onto the customer for using paperless statements so stay tuned for that or better yet give them a call to see if they will pass down any additional savings for this service.
